It
wasn't so long ago when if you wanted to travel from coast to coast,
you'd
take a Conestoga or buckboard wagon, hop on a horse or riverboat, or
just
start walkin'. We didn't even have the railroad to California yet.
Now,
you can fly east to west, north to south in any plane you please. Come
on out to the Red Cross Bash "Under Western Skies," at 6:30 p.m. Saturday,
March 3, and you'll see some flying machines at Fantasy
of Flight in Polk City,
FL.
We
have Texas
Cattle Company servin' dinner. Brassworks will
play the dance.
Join us as we kick up our heels in the "barn," and bid
on some fine goods to help
out the American Red Cross Polk County Chapter.
You're
invited. If you want to help, sign on as a Marshal ($2,000), a Sheriff
($1,200)
or a Deputy ($600) and we'll give you a table for a bunch of your
trail
riders. Or, you can ome as a Sidekick ($75 each), and we'll set you down
with some new
friends.
And if you see something you like, better bid on it quick before rustlers get it.
