Standard First Aid with Adult, Child, or Infant CPR/AED

In addition to CPR, this course also includes training in using an automated external defibrillator (AED) on a victim of sudden cardiac arrest. Useful take-home course materials help you retain skills and serve as an excellent refresher and reference tool after training is complete. Updated with the latest science for first aid, CPR and emergency cardiovascular care. Meets OSHA First Aid Guidelines.

Standard First Aid/First Aid Basics

Standard First Aid teaches the skills needed to prevent, recognize and provide basic care for injuries and sudden illnesses until advanced medical personnel arrive. First Aid Basics will teach the basics of dealing with such emergencies. Pet First Aid/CPR

In addition to helping people stay healthy and safe, the American Red Cross has expanded its call to help prevent, prepare and respond to emergencies by doing the same for four-legged family members. Pet First Aid gives hands-on training in simple emergency care procedures for cats and dogs and includes "Pet First Aid," a book by Bobbie Mammato, DVM, MPH, with step-by step directions for everything from giving medication to CPR and rescue breathing.
  This course is being offered in both Polk and Highlands County.
